Truth, I have been freezing my buns off for the past few days and tomorrow is only going to be worse (apparently). I’ve been making a lot of soups but decided to whip out these bad boys to munch on. The “blizzard sprinkle mix” had gone on sale a few days ago (because you can’t have snow after Christmas?) and are the ultimate topping to these ooey gooey blondies. Warning, they can get dangerous… and by that I mean you’ll be tempted to eat the whole pan!
White Chocolate Chip Blondies
- 2 sticks Butter
- 4 Eggs
- 2 cups white sugar
- 2 TB Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 2 cups AP Flour
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 cup White Chocolate Chips
- SPRINKLES! as many as you want to coat the top of the blondies ( I usually use about 1/2 cup)
Preheat your oven to 350 and grease a 9×9 or 9×13 cake pan.
Using the 9×9 cake pan makes for a thicker blondie so if you like them thinner Id use the 9×13.
Melt butter and 1/2 cup white chocolate chips in the microwave, checking every 15 seconds stirring to fully combine. Let the mixture cool.
Beat sugar, brown sugar, eggs an vanilla in a bowl. Slowly add butter/chocolate mixture and stir to combine. Add in flour and salt and mix until fully combined.
Mix in remaining chocolate chips and part of your sprinkles. Pour the batter into the pan and sprinkle the top with the remaining sprinkles (and extra chocolate chips if you really want to indulge! Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool before serving and top with powdered sugar if you wish.
